It’s designed to fit standard fuel cup openings, and the spring-loaded elements maintain full contact with water pans for efficient heat transfer. When set on high, one chafer heater is needed for a full-size chafer if the water level does not exceed 1/3 inch. There are two power settings and a lighted switch that signals when it’s on.
